Map Symbol Flashcards

1:25 000 scale Explorer™ flashcards are now available.  These playing card-sized map symbol flashcards have been carefully designed to teach map symbols and map reading skills.  Each pack contains two 52-card sets of Ordnance Survey map symbols and descriptions, as found on the 1:25 000 scale Explorer maps.   The cards come in a plastic storage case to withstand wear and tear.  

National Curriculum Mapping

The 2001 geography curriculum documents released by the Qualification Curriculum Authority (QCA) contain the mapping requirements for Key Stages 2 and 3. These six full colour maps identify areas of specific interest within the geography curriculum and were produced for the QCA by Ordnance Survey.
